Think On Your Feet

In 2018 four dudes went to Roundhead Studios in Auckland with a bunch of Dan Sperber’s songs and co-writes and bashed out eight numbers live. It’s raw, it’s rough, and you can hear the band feeling its way around the mostly unfamiliar material. Cameron McCurdy’s drumming is buoyant and pleasantly skittish, Oli Holland’s double bass is strong and full of sea wind and Neil Watson’s pedal steel adds sweet achy breaky as Dan Sperber digs in on voice and guitar.
