This 3LP set from Detroit's musical master Theo Parrish was originally released in 2007, and is finally getting a second chance to flex, with this tasty reissue on Sound Signature. With only nine tracks across the three discs, you know Parrish is taking his time telling his story here, dishing up "Rotating Assembly style Jazz workout to bass-heavy deep House to endlessly deep techno" in style. Guest vocals from Monica Blaire and Alena Waters make for some album highlights, but it's all damn tasty stuff. Get it! - Flying Out
Listening to any SS release is always a trip.. always totally original and different to anything else that comes out. More than anything, this applies to this triplepack. Inspirations such as Chicago & Detroit electronic music, soul music etc are clearly recognisable, but the way this is worked and moulded into his own productions is what grabs us. It's definitely taking things 3 steps further..
