Sir Dave Dobbyn celebrates 20 years since the release of his classic single, ‘Welcome Home’. To mark the anniversary, Dobbyn announces the release of his seventh studio album, Available Light, on vinyl – two decades since it's release on CD. Available Light was a further move away from the riotously energetic, hook-laden pop rock that built his reputation during the late 70s and 80s. The album was crafted in Auckland and then tailored and finished in Wellington. Featuring his heartwarming tribute to the spirit of togetherness, ‘Welcome Home’, alongside classics like ‘Pour the Wine’ and ‘Let That River Go’ – Available Light stands the test of time with songs built to last. Welcome Home spent 22 weeks on the Official New Zealand Music Chart – Dobbyn’s most successful release since ‘Slice of Heaven’.
