You can forgive our nations capital for all the politicians and Te Papa when you hear Mechatronics, the sophomore release from Wellington's musical trifecta, The All Seeing Hand.
Recorded at Scumbag College, a DIY studio lurking under Wellington Airport the album churns abstract turntablism with other worldly throat singing that is underpinned by strong, mechanical drumming.
Mechatronics features contributions from Deane Hunter on guitar and previous live collaborators St Cosmos and Samin Son on vocals and is encapsulated by design and illustrations by Daily Secretion (a.k.a Hannah Salmon).
Mechatronics is the second album by The All Seeing Hand; a joint MUZAI Records/Tenzenmen venture across Australasia.
