Two of New Zealand's finest singer-songwriters are joining forces for a nationwide tour this June.
Bic Runga and Tiny Ruins (Hollie Fullbrook) are taking their fellow bands around New Zealand on a five date tour, debuting some of their new material, re-imagined fan favourites and together for a special finale.
Bic Runga’s accomplishments are already enough to label her a national treasure…three number one albums, a swag of hit singles and a Silver Scroll songwriting award. Bic Runga has been writing and recording her next record with this material being debuted live at these concerts.
The last year has certainly been a big one for Tiny Ruins, playing over 130 shows, winning over international audiences and touring with the likes of Sharon Van Etten, Calexico and The Handsome Family. Not to mention their recent album, Brightly Painted One, picking up the Best Alternative Album at the 2014 NZ Music Awards.
