NEW STOCK ON FLYING OUT

Amelia Murray

It's early February and Flying Out have plenty of fresh new stock. From Dunedin-now-Auckland-based band Ha The Unclear to Wellington's post-punk atmospheric Spook The Horses, we've got it. See below for what's new in the Flying Out store.

Ha the Unclear are an Auckland based Dunedin band creating alt-pop songs full of odd narratives and philosophical mosaics. Their new album Bacterium, Look At Your Motor Go is now available on CD through Flying Out.

After a short visit to New Zealand last month, California songstress Julia Pratt released her fantastic sophomore album On Your Own Love Again and it is now available on LP here.

Wellington band Spook The Horses have recently released their new album Rainmaker as a follow up to their 2011 release Brighter. Now available on LP format here.

Vision Fortune's latest release Country Music was recorded in an expansive country villa in Tuscany, Italy over two months. It's both challenging and rewarding and you can purchase it on LP here.

Thurston Moore and John Moloney have teamed up to create Full Bleed; a collection of nine Herculean sludgefeasts dripping of gnarly metal-damaged heaviosity. Available on LP here.

Josh Tillman aka Father John Misty has released the follow up to his acclaimed debut Fear Fun with I Love You, Honeybear and it's available on double LP through Flying Out here.

And let's not forgot about this FREE DOWNLOAD of The Other's Way Compilation 2014. Featuring 30 of the artists who performed at The Other's Way shows throughout last year, this is a great introductory to some of the best New Zealand music. Simply subscribe to our newsletter here and receive your free download until March 5.
