LITTLE BARK NEW YORK SHOW ANNOUNCED

Kenneth Cave

Drawing on influences from Vangelis to modern day experimental electro such as Fever Ray, New Zealand’s own synth pop urchin,  Little Bark  is venturing to the USA for a show at New York’s, Pianos Bar on Sunday, October 26.

Playing tracks from her latest album,
USB  (Unique Sonic Broadcast), this will be Little Bark's first show outside of New Zealand. Packed full of synths and electronic dreamscapes,  USB  is laid out like a film soundtrack, with a mixture of synth pop songs interspersed with lush instrumentals.

Listen to the first single Modern Love here

USB  is available now on limited edition purple vinyl, CD and digital.

“Little Bark (aka Sophie Burbery) has created a sprawling, assertive record that manages to be jubilant and tense, shadowy and punchy. It's a timeless piece of work that echoes the kind of grand, emotive, electronic statement M83 and Fever Ray proposed, though it's brasher than both.” - New Zealand Herald, 4 stars

“The ideas in these songs – the shaping of the tracks – it’s all been perfectly realised, beautifully refined” - Blog on the Tracks

“A rousing array of space age synths and catapulting electronics that collide to create a quasi-futuristic, instrumental dreamscape.” - Chartshaker

“LITTLE BARK has been compared vocally to the mighty Kate Bush and here its evident that her delicate, sparse lyrical style is clearly worthy of comparison.” - Cheese On Toast
