Whoa Nelly! The Other's Way#007 has slimmed down after last months musical marathon, and instead plans on taking a quick jog tomorrow night (October 2) at The Wine Cellar (K Rd, Auckland) with some of the best and new musical talents from around New Zealand.
Featuring performances from Fazerdaze, Jules & Vince + The Conjurors, Flying Out's monthly music night is also koha entry, starts nice and early at 8.30pm, with performance times strictly adhered to. Plus we promise some cheap drinks and free pizza!
Additional thanks go to Coopers NZ for their continued support, and Chippy for poster design. The Other's Way #007 revelry is proudly brought to you by:
FAZERDAZE - 8.30PM
When she isn't studying music at the University of Auckland, Amelia Murray performs with guitar in hand and band in tow as Fazerdaze. Catch her blend of shoe gaze and dreamy pop in The Wine Cellar before she heads out on the road with Clap Clap Riot and Buzz Moller (Voom).
KCB affiliated, and with a nom de plume that sounds like it could actually be their names,Jules & Vince will grace the stage at 9.15PM. Modus operandi? Deep, romantic vocals laced over smooth beats that we have come to know and love from Auckland's electronic scene.
Staples of the Auckland music scene, and made up from members from Dictaphone Blues, Hang Loose, Xuri Xruz & The Cosbys, The Conjurors are guaranteed to get you off The Wine Cellar couches and on your feet. Led by the charismatic Matthew Crawley, The Conjurors promise to play a mix of new tunes and old classics from their EP The Six Trails Of Hercules.
