LITTLE BARK RELEASE NEW ALBUM

Matthew Davis

Little Bark - USB
“If David Lynch had directed Miami Vice, this would be the soundtrack"

Drawing on influences from Vangelis to modern day electro such as Fever Ray, Little Bark has created her own Unique Sonic Broadcast with her new album USB.

Following her self-released debut Hope Is Rubbery in 2011, Little Bark has spent the last three years readying herself for her sophomore album USB (Unique Sonic Broadcast). Co-produced with long-term collaborator Stef Animal (The Golden Awesome, Mestar), the synth-based album is laid out like a film soundtrack with synth pop songs interspersed with lush instrumentals. While also drawing influence from 80’s heroines like Madonna through to modern day experimental electro such as Fever Ray.
USB is available now on CD, digitally and aptly a USB drive featuring Little Bark's back catalogue, b-sides and demos. Plus there are still a few pre-orders for the limited edition purple vinyl pressing of the album.
"The ideas in these songs – the shaping of the tracks – it’s all been perfectly realised, beautifully refined, trial and error and not just a found-sound arrived at by fluke.....USB is the sound of an artist, an actual artist, someone following aesthetic guidelines, someone so sure that what they’re creating is what they want to make, not just a hit-and-hope/press-play-add-hype song setting." - Off The Tracks.

“a rousing array of space age synths and catapulting electronics that collide to create a quasi-futuristic, instrumental dreamscape” - Chartshaker
